Arvind Nair

Principal

Arvind Nair is the founding principal of Nair & Associates.

He is a trusted legal adviser known for his strategic thinking, sharp advocacy, and commitment to achieving results for his clients.

Arvind acts for individuals, families, and businesses across a broad range of areas, including commercial law, property, employment, immigration, and civil litigation.

With a reputation for being both pragmatic and personable, Arvind is often sought out for complex matters that require clear direction and strong representation.

Arvind takes pride in being accessible to his clients and delivering advice that is not only legally sound, but also commercially and personally practical. He brings particular strength in cross-cultural issues and regularly assists clients from diverse backgrounds navigating New Zealand’s legal system.

Michelle Delegat

Law clerk

Michelle joined Nair & Associates in 2025 after completing her LLB in 2024 at the University of Technology in Auckland. During her legal studies she was awarded a number of law awards. She also holds a BBS(Hons) and MBS from Massey University.

The combination of law, business and a corporate background in Recruitment Management, gives Michelle a diverse range of skills and insight to draw upon to assist clients. She has a particular interest in employment and commercial matters.

With an inquiring mind and passion for people, Michelle works to ensure your experience with N&A is client-focused, timely and gives you practical outcomes.

In her spare time, Michelle works as a Life Coach and loves spending quality time with her family and friends. When she's not beside the ocean, you'll find her at the gym lifting weights.
